Josue Toríz Garcia begins his professional artistic career in 2015 as an instructor of the portrait workshop at the Academy of San Carlos of the Faculty of Arts and Design at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM. He has training in various techniques of the visual arts such as acrylic, pastel, airbrush, oil, charcoal, etc., showing his work in various exhibitions, galleries and artistic venues throughout his career.
 
An artist, draftsman, painter, portraitist and workshop leader, he has shared his knowledge in artistic workshops and universities, as well as in his own art workshop/studio, passing on to his students his love for realist and figurative art, with the guiding premise: “Drawing is the foundation of everything”.

His work shows a diversity of subjects, based on the figurative style, seeking to represent the deepest ideas of his experience and thought; introspective work, the everyday object and the portrait are some of his proposals as an artist, striving for cleanness and realism in each of his strokes.
