My contact with the world of art began at a very early age, precisely at the age of 6, since my father is a sculptor and watching him create three-dimensional figures was simply fascinating; so, even back then, I modeled in plasticine various figures, people and guard dogs, which I would place in front of the door because I believed they helped watch over our home.
Delving in and learning at my father’s hand over the years about the gratifying world of the visual arts, and now in my adult life I see my children enjoy watching me make sculptures, something that seems divine to me because I am certain it opens their minds to magical worlds, so I enjoy sculpture even more than when I was 6 years old—an art that gives me satisfaction on a professional and even spiritual level and that ultimately translates into cheerful sculptures, full of grace and certain nuances of irony. That is why it was approximately 5 years ago that I left the trial lawyer’s suit in the closet and now fully enjoy the passion of modeling and producing sculptures professionally.
