Nour Kuri

introduction
Nour Kuri was born in Mexico City. She studied Social Communication Sciences at Universidad Anahuac. Since 1994 she has worked with the sculptors Maestra Marcela Arbide and Maestro Eduardo Nasta. It is from then on that, through bronze and carvings in wood, onyx or marble, she found the medium to express her feelings, her very life….

Modern; stylized human forms that, although they tend toward abstraction, remain close to the object from which they originate. Her recurring theme is mainly the human figure, seeking its expression at different moments of life, of the couple, the family and the community.
