Lucía Hernández Bribiesca

A self-taught artist who, through a figuration of her own, portrays on her canvases a sensitive world, guided by the light of objects and following a colorist line of painting full of vitality.

Her work is characterized by free strokes with an impressionist influence made with a palette knife, which in some cases are set against the delicacy of the brush.

“To each painting belongs a unique moment, with an intention and emotion that only that canvas can receive. In oil painting I have found the freedom to capture the intangible, where detail matters and the possibilities have no limit”.
