Karla Barrenechea is a visual artist specializing in abstract art. Self-taught, for more than a decade she has explored the expressive possibilities of mixed media on a variety of textile supports, creating compositions distinguished by their originality and aesthetic strength.
Her work is born of a fascination with beauty, patterns and the cultural experiences that shape her vision of the world. Each piece reflects a balance between the intuitive and the considered, offering the viewer a unique proposal for inhabiting and transforming spaces.
Barrenechea is a member of La Asociación de Artistas Plásticos de México, A.C., where she has consolidated a contemporary, profound and versatile style, recognized for conveying order and sophistication.
