JC Zubiaur was born in Orizaba, Mexico, in 1987. He holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad Veracruzana. He has undertaken various studies in digital video, 3D modeling, and animation. He studied cinematography at the New York Film Academy, NY. He has held various solo and group exhibitions in Mexico, the United States, Italy, Argentina, and Cuba.
His work was selected for the II Biennial of Art of Veracruz and the XVI Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial, "Mexico: the future is not written: contemporary artists of Mexico".
Zubiaur works with various media, among which the following stand out: painting, sculpture, video, and digital graphics. He currently works and lives in Mexico City.
